Prior to the recent User Activated Soft Fork (UASF) drama created at the beginning of the month, Bitcoin (BTC) transaction congestion and delays were among the chief complaints of users sending and receiving BTC through blockchain exchange. There were periods of time where both senders and receivers could find themselves waiting hours for their confirmations to set it and finally complete the desired exchange. 

I decided to send an average amount of BTC into the blockchain in order to see how the seas are fairing these days, in order to produce an expectation of current timeline and generate some more up-to-date data for myself. 

For the transaction I submitted an amount of 0.1956334 BTC which incurred a transactional fee of 0.01864611 BTC (9.5311 %), bringing the received amount to 0.17698729 BTC. 

One thing certainly hasn't changed-This is definitely a toll road. 

The transaction size of 3470 (bytes) was received and took +63 minutes to complete and reach the intended wallet address (verified). This was completed under transaction ID: 8d82dafd2aca844f504ed1b80d46d405ed1ce0c54682c0bcda5322456c9288de and can be verified by interested parties.

I wasn't impressed, but I wasn't necessarily disappointed either. The transaction completed, though sluggishly, and I can be confident for the time being that BTC has remained stable despite controversy. 

The fees and slow transaction remain indicative in my opinion that Bitcoin remains ever in-need of a solution road-map ahead, but there is certainly a robust nature to BTC that is becoming harder to deny as it continues its slow and stalwart march in the leader's lane.
