Yet another fork from the original Bitcoin (BTC), is to have a snapshot taken at block 501225 scheduled to occur on December 25, 2017.
A number of exchanges and wallets will be accepting/trading Bitcoin God (GOD).
If you hold BTC on that date, you will be entitled to the same amount in GOD (GOD is the Bitcoin God token symbol).
There will be a maximum of 21 Million available and there will be NO PRE-MINING.
Who will get some?
Who will trade it?
Is it just smoke and mirrors?

For me personally it will be another attempt to drop the Bitcoin from its leadership rank. I am cross-fingered to succeed!!!
I like idea, more free coins! But be careful for a while, there will probably be scam wallets for this too aiming to steal your BTC hoard :-)

Bitcoin gold is not necessary in my opinion. Bitcoin Cash is worth checking out though as it is supported by early adopters of bitcoin and is the most efficient version of bitcoin. (faster than bitcoin, cheaper transaction fees, bigger block sizes etc.) Bitcoin cash is actually a viable replacement for standard currencies
Yes, I have some of that of course, from the first Bitcoin fork that gave us Bitcoin Cash.
There are so many BTC forks for December....I'll keep them all until the dust settles a bit I think.
