The price of bitcoin cash was seen rising before Coinbase announced its support for buying and selling of bitcoin cash on its platform.
Coinbase said that employees at the venue have been "prohibited from trading in bitcoin cash for several weeks."
CEO Brian Armstrong said the company would conduct a probe into whether employees violated its trading policy.

Coinbase has launched an internal probe to identify whether its employees engaged in insider trading of Bitcoin Cash shortly before the cryptocurrency was officially introduced to the exchange yesterday. Increased trading led to a spike in Bitcoin Cash’s valuation, and just four hours after its introduction, Coinbase suspended trading of the digital currency.

CNBC was doing a story promoting Bitcoin cash, Bitcoin hash Guru Paul Wasenstiener is Married CNBC host Gabby Wasenstiener . They used a screenshot of Coinbase just as it closed the markets with Bitcoin cash at an inflated $8000

Well, if you tried to sell your BCH on Coinbase at those prices, you would have gotten an error message. You could not sell.

I think its weird that CNBC host is dating a Bitcoin cash guru

I think its weird they used bitcoin cash hits $8k screenshot from coinbase and not explaining that those orders were never fullfilled.
