I agree this interface is very limiting and certainly needs improvement, the blog section especially.. tags are nice, but I would like to see channels or some other way to categorize content within the blog so users or readers could view the section of your blog that holds the content they like.
i would find it interesting to be able to 'follow' topics instead of people or in a seperate 'feed' somehow
lets say this week i'm into dutch, and food then filter out all dutch food topics somehow
and have several options to create custom filters
conspiracy + bullshit
freedom + netneutrality
to get specific notifications if anything like that combination pops up.
art + painting + landscape
This way you can get deeper into the data faster to get closer to what really interests you
The privacy could also use some improvements.
