My argument against the complaint that anonymous sources are funding candidates through untraceable money is that that is ALREADY THE NORM here in the U.S. Since the Citizen's United decision, money if free speech. Dark money is therefore effortlessly given to Political Action Committees (PACS) where anyone can anonymously give any amount to anyone. If anything, the fear is that the giver seems to have the ability to pull strings in other parts of the Party's power structure which gives them even more leverage to actually direct how their money will be used in any given election.
I'm not anti-government or a conspiracy theorist. But this argument against crypto screams that such usage is not the problem. Some free people will always misuse whatever is available while we live trying to build a social contract that energizes all people to be good or become better in building world communities.
