Here’s why. What people don’t understand about this technological revolution is very simple to explain. When the internet was invented, it was a game changer because for the first time in human history, people could send vast amounts of information across the globe almost instantaneously. Now with the innovation of cryptocurrencies, the next revolution is here. We now have the ability to send VALUE across the globe almost instantaneously… WITHOUT using an Intermediary (3rd Party). Imagine what this means for a second. Half of the Earth’s population doesn’t even have a bank account, yet 75% of Earthlings have a smartphone. Bill Gates himself said that Blockchain technology (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin) will pull over 1 Billion people out of poverty. Instead of me saying, “Hey, I’ll trade you two of my chickens if you’ll fix that hole in my roof”, now I can simply transfer a little of my bitcoin (digital savings) to you, what’s your address? This is going to solve so many problems and reduce the costs of the transfer of VALUE that we haven’t even begun to scratch the surface of what’s possible with this technology. A current example is that I sometimes hire computer programmers in India to do some work for me, but the website that I found them on takes a 20% commission of what I pay them. Now because of Bitcoin, I can pay them directly, with almost no additional costs incurred by them or me. Here’s another one… Google: Bitcoin and Venezuela, or Bitcoin and Nigeria and read the stories about how if it weren’t for Bitcoin, some of these families would be starving because now they have something other to trade than their government’s worthless fiat currencies. I could go on and on. Ethereum is going to be the backbone of The Internet of Things (IoT)… expected to be 20 Billion connected devices by 2020. Unbreakable Smart Contracts, 100% Uptime, No Possibility of Fraud or Censorship. This is just the beginning folks.

BUY NOW. I would diversify into the top blockchains, BTC, ETH, LTC, and some others will also prevail, but those are where to invest now.

Oh and for those that say Ethereum is inflationary, obviously they haven’t done their homework. Over 94% of the Ether that will ever be mined in our lifetime have already been mined…. compared to only the 82% of Bitcoin that has already been mined.

There are plans to reduce the amount of Ether issued per block and defer the difficulty bomb. Or keep the difficulty bomb and let block times get longer, effectively reducing the amount of Ether that will be released in a particular space of time.
