Interesting perspective. I doubt if Bitcoin will drop back down to $100 though. It might hover around the spot price of gold though eventually. Or if it reaches $1M, it may get split conversion of to something else kind of similar to the way a Federal Reserve Note does with the British Pound, Lira, Riyadhs, and other fiats.
