Hard forks are indeed a new trend. Uncontrollable as anything created in the crypto sphere.

I think it's becoming a new trend - "Whichever coin produces the most valuable forks becomes the most valuable investment"
Good for holders once they are proven safe to split! Free is free!
That's true and I hear your catch phrase :-)
However at some point, isn't forking for creating value like issuing new fiat? just that this time everyone can do it.
There haven been 1000's of other Altcoins made out of think air- it only makes the real one stronger- Bitcoin. Debate the philosophical stuff with the guys who sit there and watch, I choose to take what is given to me for free and turn it into the real thing- BTC! BE IN MOTION!
You can take and still debate the impact on the long turn. Because that’s the brand of BTC you’re talking about through hard fork.
I care about Bitcoin and that’s why i worry about what’s free. There is no real free things in this world.
