CBOE will be first to launch Bitcoin Futures Dec 10th Sorry CME Group!

CME was definitely first to hype everyone up about Bitcoin futures, and once they received full approval they (I guess) felt rushed and pushed it back a week to Dec 18th. CBOE is taking advantage of this. They got their regulatory approvals and not holding any punches or wasting any time they will launch Dec 10th at 5PM Est under the symbol XBT. Sorry CME Group!

The contracts are still cash settled like CME's and based off the price of the Winklevoss Bitcoin index. Some differences are that the minimum price changes are roughly $10 (10 basis points), minimum purchase is 50 contracts, maximum purchase is 5,000 contracts.
