Bitcoin was released several years ago anonymously and it has still remained the most popular cryptocurrency of all in spite of all the altcoin competition coming after it.

Some say we are headed toward a cashless future = = which will make way for more use of cryptocurrency.

For many years, bitcoin was the world's strongest performing currency, and on occasion it has even outperformed gold. It had a bad year in 2014 but it's been picking up the pace and looks like that trend is going to continue now.

Might it surge above $1200 or more next year?
