Thoughts on Bitcoin and Altcoins

in #bitcoin7 years ago (edited)

I have been participating in the crypto world for many years as a miner and more recently as an investor / speculator. I believe we are now on the edge of a big crypto shake up like what happened to the dot com bubble. When this happens you wil see both winners and loosers in this world. I believe Bitcoin will still be on top although not as high as I want because of the Bitcoin Cash hard fork. Then maybe Litecoin because of its recent stability. And my long shot would be Dogecoin. To play it safe I would buy a little Litecoin just to be in if it makes a move. Not so much that it would financially hurt you if you lost it all but enough to make you supper happy if it goes to the moon. With Dogecoin I would put litterally lunch money into it for the same reasons. As for Bitcoin, At this point in time I see it as a rocket that already took off. You can be my guest and chase price but if it crashes it could hurt your wallet. Investing now in bitcoin now takes a person with a lot of guts and that is not how I invest. As for Etherium I use to like it until I found out who backs it. Then I turned the other way. EOS is getting more and more media coverage and after reading the licensing agreement I really don't like it.

So to wrap this up. If you are interested in crypto look at Litecoin (investing) and Dogecoin (like a lottery ticket). Put as much in as you can afford but don't put so much in that you will be living in a box in an alley if it crashes. Stay away from Etherium and EOS and enjoy the ride. :)download.jpg

Before that, we often change bitcoin into cash and use them to use it. Why not use Bitcoin to shop? Because it's not popular and it's just virtual value, not real stuff. So BCC was born, it solved the problem of Bitcoin. Therefore, Bitcoin will continue to grow in the future. It is foolish if we now sell Bitcoin

First most currency is already in digital format. have you used a credit card or debit card? Now... What backs the currency? Nothing!!! The only thing you can really say is that confidence backs a currency. And when confidence is gone so is your value. Look at Venezuela. Those poor people are eating pets to stay alive. So What I was saying was saying in the article was not to pin your dreams on crypto but to just put a little into it just in case it goes to the moon. Also I don't see crypto as a perfect currency but it is better than we have now. And one last thought... Crypto is still young. As confidence builds in it more people will use it. Finally, thank you for your comments. It made me think a lot about this response. :)
