BTC is proving strong
Today, BTC grew strong against alt-coins and made about $200 increase in just three hours while the altcoins dipped a little further down. This shows quite a funny indication. To my understanding, it seemed there is an heavy demand for BTC as a result of high bids while there are a lot of asks (high supply) for alts making the BTc get stronger while the alts dip.
This further proofs that BTC is still a strong coin and most likely never will stop being one as people see it as a strong store of value when the market seems verily uncertain with the intermittent unexplained pump and dumps.

Surprising that the alt coins reacted negatively. I hope this fizzles out as it isn't necessarily good to see bitcoin taking a different direction from the alt coins from an investor standpoint
BTC is bullish for the long term. It had to go up in value after institutions adopt it especially for trading and as some countries make use of cryptocurrencies because of US govt. sanction they will get freed from such sanctions that only destroys lives of those in the poverty level especially. @ogoowinner
Seriously bitcoing is proving strong. I think it is because it is widely recognized and highly acceptable when compared to other coin. Even, the pric of bitcoin is far beyond altcoins.
