I recommend checking out Goldmoney also. You can purchase gold fractionally just like BTC. Also a debit card is available for liquidation as you need it.

It takes a while to set it up, they just recently upgraded their infrastructure. It's great in the fact that you store gold in a vault of your choosing outside of the USA if you like. Talk about eggs in one basket.
