Would be massive if it were to happen but i think it's a really remote at this point. There was news about Facebook removing restrictions on crypto ads so maybe there's some truth to this.
Coinbase isn't going to come cheap and unless they want to add some legitimacy to crypto, can't see much of a reason to spend all that cash on it. Stranger things have happened though.
I tend to agree, what was interesting though was the more you dig the more to this story there is than just rumour. You are right and I didn't mention it but Facebook now allowing crypto ads was another related event that fuels the rumour mill further.
