African view on Bitcoin

Many African countries catch on late on new technologies. Blockchain technology - Cryptocurrency is almost non existent yet the internet has fairly penetrated Africa. Most people have never heard of Bitcoin and the few that have don't understand or appreciate its role in today's society and the future.
Africa would greatly benefit if people embraced new technology and were hungry for knowledge.
Efficient payment systems are almost non existent and very broken in Africa
The majority of the population is still unbanked . Cryptocurrencies would play a major role in uplifting the poor and unbanked in Africa if only people could appreciate this new technology

African currencies are so weak and always perform very poorly against the dollar. Businesses face dollar scarcities to facilitate international payments and trade. Bitcoin would offer a very cost effective and efficient mechanism of moving funds to and from Africa. Africa needs Bitcoin more than any place because everything is still broken.

Many African countries only have one stock exchange with companies listed barely making ten in number. Cryptocurrency would open up the world of investing to Africans who want to participate in global markets.

The Africa of today needs to wake up and participate like the rest of the world in improving and validating this new payment system, this new money, this new future.
