ICO are not going to die as it has change the capital raising markets! However, it may need to evolve to consider the regulatory concerns that have been raised. I think Security Tokens will be the next evolution of ICOs and ETH while not maybe being the main platform, will continue to be a funding source which should keep its demand as they continue to improve the protocol for sharding and Casper.
