Mainstream for The Underground is a blockchain project for the music industry launched on top of Ethereum. The goal of the MFTU project is to create an equitable landscape for music industry participants through its blockchain powered payment system. Instead of the traditional model of managing artists through a management team, the MFTU empowers cross-border royalty collections. Artists need to be registered members of the Performance Rights Organization to be able to harness this unique opportunity.

Artists who register on MFTU are able to gain automatic airtime on CyberFM without a lot of paperwork involved. This all happens free of charge as well. Another distinguishing feature that makes CyberFM a very unique opportunity comes from the embedded artificial intelligence technologies. Artists are able to get their songs grouped with other mainstream artists of the same genre, in recommended playlists on users’ devices. This greatly increases the reach to more fans at very little cost.
