BITCOIN RUSSIA: BURGER KING ACCEPTED BITCOIN!

Timidly, but it is going on. Slowly, the big system customers are also stepping up to the taste of Bitcoin: From now on in some Russian branches of Burger King tests and first restaurants are beginning to accept Bitcoin as a payment method.

The Russian news blog "Uznay Vse" published the cover picture of this post and reported "Russian Burger King branches of more akin bitcoins". This message went into the social networks and especially in the Bitcoin Community viral. Dimitry Medovoy, the CEO of Burgerking Russia, confirmed this and also explained that Burger King Russia is looking for a software developper that integrates Bitcoin into existing Kassing software and Burgerkung.ru apps.

Bitcoin Russia: Sense of Change

It is interesting how Bitcoin is rapidly becoming popular in Russia. If you have a bit of bitcoin over the past few years knows that there were times when the Russian government wanted to use the commercial use and even the possession of Bitocin with a bus. This has been quite a while, and the Russian government and business world is becoming more and more friendly. Just a few weeks ago, President Vladimir Putin invited Vialik Buterin, the founder of the Ethereum Universe, to a private audience.

    This is good news and shows increasing mainstream acceptance! This is why future splits such as the recently announced bitcoin core split need to be carefully considered. For mainstream adoption, bitcoin needs to be understood and implemented by non techies! If it forks every couple of months that's going to be very difficult to achieve!

    This sort of mainstream adoption is exactly what Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies need. I can't wait to see more restaurants and retail stores add these new payment options.
