Poloniex Verification Required
Dear Steemit friends,
Poloniex started enforcing the ID verification, which is somewhat unfortunate for those who would like to keep their financial privacy. I understand that Polo has to do it, but Polo should have allowed the users without verification to withdraw the funds (even if it has to be done in small increments). My understanding is that funds cannot be withdrawn from unverified accounts. Daily withdrawal limits are 0 USD (see picture below).
I think that clamp down on out financial privacy will only speed up the development and adoption of decentralised exchanges.

It is sad to see our privacy diminished...
Its not.use decentralized exchanges.
Agree! Decentralized exchanges will be the future of the asset class for this reason andbif you think of others. The fact that some governments are also pressuring exchanges to delist privacy coins as well will accelerate the interest here. Lastly, the security of these exchanges seem to be better as well.
