The size of the commission in the bitcoin network fell

Right now, the size of the commission in the bitcoin network is only 1-2 satosh per byte, which is approximately $ 0.22 - $ 0.27 per transaction.
In addition, there is a sharp decline in the volume of the membrane (deferred transactions), if on January 24 the volume was 140 mbytes, now it tends to 30 mb. Supporters bitcoin connect this situation with the termination of the attack on the bitcoin network by small transactions.
Another prerequisite for increasing network performance was the extraction of the first blocks exceeding the size of 2 MB due to the steady increase in the number of SegWit transactions. The size of 505253 block was 2217.342 KB, the approximate volume of the transferred crypto currency in the block was 466.80344125 BTC.
