What will happen when the next crash comes?

So what will happen when the next crash comes? When I say crash I don't mean the crash of the crypto market, but the crash of the traditional financial markets. Because we've had a bull market since the last crash which ended 2009, many so called experts are now debating that the bull market has come to an end and the bear will take over. Altough a crash as severe and dramatic as the last one is not likely to happen again since it was the biggest crisis since the 30's, a drop in the market will eventually come and may come very soon. Since 2017 has been the year of the cryptos so far and many are betting it will continue through 2018, it's an interesting scenario what will happen to the crypto market if the traditional markets will experience a major drop through 2018 because of the long bull market.

You can hear today of high net worth individuals speculating in cryptocurrencies and foremost Bitcoin as a safe asset to store value. Also with more institutional money coming in to the crypto universe I think that trade pattern will be reinforced because of the eligibility institutional money brings.

But my biggest thought on this and to answer my initial question is how the crypto market will be affected if the traditional markets drop significantly during 2018, with the prerequisite that the crypto market continues to thrive. I think if this happen we can see an even bigger boom to the crypto market mainly because of my reasoning above. If all this happen I think the crypto market as a whole and not only Bitcoin will be seen as a safe haven and a good alternative investment. It will be a win-win situation for the crypto market where the decline in the the traditional market will increase the growth and upward trend in the crypto market.

With that said I'm very optimistic of cryptocurrencies in general for 2018 and if above laid out scenario happens some interesting things may happen to the crypto market!
