My Top 10 Favorite Cryptocurrencies

This might be the  most popular list on this platform at this moment in time. Cryptocurrency is what is turning this world upside down, wherever you look on the internet it is all about Bitcoin, Ethereum, Steem or some other altcoin. Time for great cryptocurrency adoption is coming close. There are many bad altcoins out there made just for quick profit but there are also some ground breaking ones with real life use. I'm not to technical, this is my 1st year of trading and investing but in this time i gained some favorites. My top 10:

1. Bitcoin

Granddaddy of all cryptos is of course Bitcoin. Bitcoin started it all and in some years time created the whole ecosystem of other currencies all resting on bitcoin's hope and promise. From 10,000  bitcoin for 1 pizza to 1200 usd for 1 btc. You can say that that is quite a rise. We can see the rise of Bitcoin ATM's, more stores are accepting btc as a payment. After reward halving they are even more scarce and price can easily go to 1000 usd 1 btc. 

2. Steem, Steem Power, Steem Dollars

Yes we have essentially 3 different components to steem, they are all connected but different. This is where most people get lost and think it is all a ponzi scheme, a scam, and what not. My point of view is completely different, Steem is groundbreaking in many ways. When i think of future of this platform and steem i only see great things. Sometimes the great FUD, sometimes great HYPE is present but those are just your classic cryptocurrency cycles. Here we have real use and real promise of great things to come.

3. Ethereum

This cryptocurrency promisses a lot. From 10 cents to 20 dollars for 1 eth coin is also quite a rise. This coin had a great time on exchanges early 2016, but unfortunately that DAO debacle happened and ethereum got well deserved flak. However one bad code won't and can't destroy this project. A lot of money is invested and there's a lot of bright minds working for ethereum foundation. It is still in early development, who knows where can smart contracts lead us. Vitalik Buterin is just like Joe Pesci, he gets things done. 

4. Factom

Factoms can rid the countries of the unnecessary paper work. All the documents that can be forged or faked can't with factom, millions of documents would not be needed, everything could be stored on factom block chain, whole libraries, forever in decentralized blockchain. Giant digital library.  

5. Waves

What waves are trying to achieve with their project is essentially to make it decentralized trading platform where we can trade fiat tokens to bitcoin, waves or any other custom created coin and later withdraw it easy to our fiat bank accounts. Lite client is looking good and is simple enough to install. What i would like to do is buy on dips and accumulate wave coins for the future. This thing will be big. 

6. Digibyte

Digybyte as they like to say is 1000x more available, 40x faster, 5x more decentralised and 50x more scaleable than bitcoin. Sounds nice. Also real life use is present with digibyte stores and digibyte gaming. You can play League of Legends or Counter Strike go and earn Digibyte coins for playing which  is nice.  Digibyte is doing all the right things out there. 

7. Monero

Monero is not on my list just because of this last insane price rise. This blockchain has a lot going for it. safe, secure, private. You can't see the contents of someones's wallet. Darknet obviously likes this. Also, monero coins are scarce like bitcoin, at this time there are only 13 million coins, so the price can go even more up.

8. Game Credits

Another gaming cryptocurrency.This currency can be integrated in any game. One day this will be big, imagine playing and buying stuff ingame with game credit tokens. Possibilities are endless. Price is long term bullish, great things still to come.

9. Lisk

Platform for decentralized apps programmed in java script. They had successful ICO this year and I'm expecting great things from this platform. I love this video to illustrate Lisk potential.

10. Doge

Who let the doge out?!  Why is this coin so popular nobody can tell you but everyone likes it. It is stable even  though price should be around 3 satoshis, this just shows how big community can keep any coin alive. Nobody can resist the charm of this coin.  Much doge, so win, epic loots.
