Segwit2x to Release New Code Today

Bloq co-founder, Jeff Garzik, has confirmed to Coindesk that new code is set to be released today following two weeks of Alpha testing. The release is supposed to address issues and comments raised in the initial version. Segwit2x is no stranger to controversy, as with most proffered solutions in the scaling debate, with accusations of not sticking to the protocols intended purpose by some, and others championing it a s a practical compromise.
