The mainstream are still not quite getting Cryptocurrency, but look back just a year or so and the likes of The Washington Post really didn't get......

Thought you might enjoy this one from The Washington Post back in January 2016:

Not long ago, venture capitalists were talking about how Bitcoin was going to transform the global currency system and render governments powerless to police monetary transactions. Now the cryptocurrency is fighting for survival.

The reality came to light on Jan. 14, when its influential developer, Mike Hearn, declared Bitcoin a failure and disclosed that he had sold all of his Bitcoins.

The price of Bitcoin fell 10 percent in a single day on the news, a sad result for those who are losing money on it.

Bitcoin did have great potential, but it is damaged beyond repair. A replacement is badly needed.

Well, it seems they may of written Bitcoin off a little early, wouldn't you say.

RIP Washington Post, clearly your reporting is a failure and we need something better .

Sort:

I don't think the problem is that they don't get it. The problem is that they are bribed by the current banking system so they resist it unconsciously or consciously. The rats will leave a sinking ship, eventually.

Well, your right in that they are likely bribed by the current fraudulent banking system, but they also just dont get it .
