Since the birth of humans, a fundamental means of survival is innately hardwired. Our course of survival begins when we internalize stimuli from the external world and put it to use. From internalizing the creation of fire in the stone age to the internalization of a fire burning down a city; humans in modern society have an advanced understanding of the various stimuli encountered daily. A general consensus surrounds social "conduct" or "standards" to streamline these daily interactions. Without a social contract as such, organized communication, information, and trade would not exist in an efficient manner. The easier access to resources human potentiate, the more strict the social "conduct" used to procure those amenities will become. Social "agreements" are dependent upon the ease in daily interactions for humans (If we still had to hunt for food daily, we wouldn't be visiting fine dining restaurants) We recognize this dependency to be a void that has yet be fully exhausted in society; by focusing on continued upkeep of social standards, humans are misappropriating time and energy.

Through the emerging currency and information security technology of blockchain, Acknowledger.io and the cryptography community will provide access to"smart" social contracts of trade and information that circumvent relying on human standards to complete tasks in our daily lives.

From developed to undeveloped nations, humans are born into understanding a social "contract" unique to that society or culture.Under said contracts, the pioneering groups tend to create "tokens" that are used to advance one's self within that society. When we say "tokens" we mean items or position that have a generally agreed upon notoriety; whether those tokens are of monetary worth or cultural value varies.

Survival as humans is based off of a constant exchange of non-static social tokens under a culture's respective social "contract". Generation of more efficient ways to garner these "tokens" causes the "token" to continually change. A college degree could be viewed as a token of sorts and obtaining that degree online is a good example of the evolution of tokens in society. We can look again to crypto currency as another good example of an evolution of a monetary social "token".

Centuries pass and the search for "social" tokens of informational value have become a struggles for money. Money to make life easier or maybe even money to pay someone else for information; exchangeable currency is the epitome of a "social" token. These token are generally sought after because of the pleasure they bring, knowledge offered, or a fiat value. More examples, a name brand article of clothing, a promotion to a better position...
