Also, the President said, when using cryptocurrencies, there is a real possibility of money laundering, tax evasion, financing of terrorism and the proliferation of fraudulent schemes, the victims of which can become ordinary citizens of the country.
Regarding the regulation of cryptocurrencies, the President noted that it was important not to impose unnecessary restrictions, but to create in Russia conditions for improvement of the financial system, which will help to significantly reduce the risks associated with the use of cryptocurrency.

Также, подчеркнул президент, при использовании криптовалюты существует реальная возможность отмывания капиталов, ухода от налогов, финансирования терроризма и распространения мошеннических схем, жертвами которых могут стать рядовые граждане страны.
Относительно регулирования криптовалют президент отметил, что важно не вводить излишние запреты, а создать в России условия для совершенствования финансовой системы, что поможет значительно снизить риски при использовании криптовалют.
