I think the fear of a split is already priced in, I think the price will only tank when a split really happens. I think if Segwit gets finally implemented without chain split this will be the event where Bitcoin will take back a huge market share back from alts. Bitcoin price will then explode over the coming months.

Maybe now is a good buy-moment if you want to bet on Segwit implementation. 2500 has proven as a strong support multiple times already, the price could never go lower than now anymore.
