We got rid of Bitconnect, other scam alts tanked hard and showed people that investigation is important before investment, exchanges like Coinbase now may have time to implement Segwit instead of adding 100.000 new accounts a day, Lightning gets time to roll out in a period without hype, so the new hype could go there!
