Check with your Bank
If there is one thing that really grinds me gears is that a Bank would dictate how I can spend my money. Now, just to be clear, I'm not talking about credit, since there's of course no money of mine to be spent, but I'm literally referring to funds I hold in my account.
I came across this on my feed today and it truly made me wonder what I would do in this case. As you might imagine, I do not bank with Wells Fargo, but if I did, this would make me drop them faster than a rotten apple. What do you mean??????
I will translate for you:
Dear Customer: F*ck you...
If I want to spend my money in penny slots at a casino, that's my problem, and any bank who is attempting to restrict me, can truly go take a hike.
On the other hand, this is bullish af my friends. Why? Well, because they would not do this, if they were not afraid of what's coming.
All that being said...
Check with your Bank.... ask them about cryptos.
MenO
Same with me on my credit cards... I had to find a prepaid Visa to work on it..

But they do supposedly still allow customer abuse, account fraud, stealing customer money, and money laundering for themselves per their court history it appears, so ya know, pro's n con's :-)

What a scam. If it isn't illegal, then they shouldn't block it. It's as ridiculous as banks blocking transactions on cornflakes.
Cryptocurrency is a big danger for banks and XRP is king.
Banks have your identity, charge you high etc. Of-course they will not kill themselves with their own hands.
After years of scandals and fraud (beyond the usual fractional reserve fraud), I can't believe anyone still does business with Wells Fargo.
it is quite ridiculous... scammers telling us hey... yall wanna scam... gtfo...
Agreed :S
Oh wow. Interesting. I use Wells Fargo and was able to transfer funds last fall at least. Must be a new policy. Really crappy. Time to find a new bank.
Crazy

Pretty much every bank made this rule about a year ago. You would think since its debt there would be zero risk for them. Just shows ya banks are scared of bitcoin.
If I had to bet I wpuld say one of their legal team probably said they could be implemented in a crime if crypto was used.
Just using inside baseball knowledge. This type of change is also why they say terms and conditions can change at any time.
Shady and not cool but where we are in the world. Thanks for sharing

I like how they think money laundering is only used in crypto. Money laundering is super old it’s just banks being threatened and giving a lame excuse.
I bank with Wells Fargo and as of tomo changing banks.

Don't blame you but just remember any bank can change at anytime. You only think you control your money they hold.
