Meet CoinGrocer, the new platform to buy groceries with cryptocurrencies

To the hundreds of initiatives that seek to popularize the use of cryptocurrencies among the population, CoinGrocer is added, an enterprise oriented towards the combination of two interests not necessarily opposed, cryptocurrency and nutrition.

In this sense, the CoinGrocer team has decided to anonymously launch the beta version of an e-commerce site that allows its consumers to acquire from a variety of more than 21,000 healthy and organic products using cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin, bitcoin cash, monero, ethereum and litecoin, also announcing an association with GloBee, a recognized global payment provider.

This initiative was born from an anonymous group of criptodivisas enthusiasts, who in order to promote education and familiarization with these, offer the possibility of buying products of daily use with cryptocurrencies, being until now the only ones in the market in this area.

In this way, Felix Honigwachs, CEO of GloBee, said that this alliance would allow users to take advantage of a direct link between their payment platform and organic food producers.

At the moment, users can choose from a wide range of organic products that include healthy food, beauty products, home products and even health products, using the aforementioned cryptocurrencies, in addition to Visa for BitPay cardholders.

However, the team announced its intention to add more cryptocurrencies to its platform to supplant the visa payments. In addition, they would be considering including other cryptocurrencies such as Cardano, Dash, Dogecoin, NEO, Ripple, Stellar, Tron, Decred, IOTA and EOS to their platform.

Also, CoinGrocer is only working in the territory of the United States at the moment, but the project seeks to expand its services to other horizons at some point in the near future.
