Anything that happens in the free market has parties that win and parties that lose. On average, there are more winning parties that usually have a mutually beneficial relationship with other winning parties. The free market can have its faults like bank runs and stock market crashes, but this is usually not a problem since it will resolve itself eventually. Look at the Bitcoin: it had a massive gain to $18k, drop to $10k and is now recovering upwards.
