๐ ONLINE USERS AT POLONIEX BITCOIN PRICE correlation I started collecting data on online users at poloniex . I try to collect the data about the same time every day. I was thinking it would be interesting to see how the amount of users increase or decrease with the Bitcoin price .

RED LINE = BITCOIN PRICE AT THE TIME DATA WAS COLLECTED
๐ I may have isolated a possible chart pattern showing the possibility of Bitcoin rising in price . The pattern works like this one would purchase Bitcoin when Polinex users ( Blue Column ) Fall Below 40,000 for the first time after being above 40,000 we can look for a rise in Btc price . Then to exit the trade one would sell the position when Polinex users ( Blue Column ) Rise back Above 40,000 . I have placed a Black # 1 within the column at bottom of chart to show when this has occurred.

Most major digital currencies suffered massive drops over the last 24 hours, but one token actually appeared to have posted gains.
It's called tether, and the digital asset aims to link the cryptocurrency environment to the fiat world by tying each token to government-backed currency. One tether token is meant to equal $1, but price-checking website CoinMarketCap shows the price varying by a few cents over time.

Ripple, or XRP, traded near $1.22 Tuesday afternoon, down nearly 47 percent for the year so far, according to CoinMarketCap.
The latest ripple prices on CoinMarketCap still exclude prices from some South Korean exchanges, where ripple trades about 20 cents higher.
Bitcoin traded about 16 percent lower for the year so far, according to CoinDesk.

After stealing the spotlight from bitcoin in 2017, ripple has fallen more than 40 percent in the first few weeks of 2018.
Ripple, or XRP, traded near $1.22 Tuesday afternoon, down nearly 47 percent for the year so far, according to CoinMarketCap. The digital currency had soared more than 35,500 percent in 2017 to end the year at $2.30, the website showed.
In contrast, bitcoin had climbed about 1,500 percent last year and was trading 16 percent lower for 2018, near $11,500, according to CoinDesk, as of Tuesday afternoon.
The latest ripple prices on CoinMarketCap still exclude prices from some South Korean exchanges, where ripple trades about 20 cents higher. The cryptocurrency data site said on Jan. 8 it was excluding the prices due to "extreme divergences in price from the rest of the world." As of Tuesday, ripple had a market capitalization of $48 billion as the third-largest cryptocurrency, according to CoinMarketCap.
This is a really interesting system, something I have never come across before! Iโll devinately have to look into it more.
