🐒 24hr VOLUME BTC / CRYPTO CURRENCY ( ALT COINS ) and BTC price comparison
I feel like a lot of Bitcoin when purchased goes to Bittrex or Poloniex in order to trade other Alt coins.
So I decided to start watching the 24hr volume of BTC traded on Bittrex and Poloniex to see how it correlates with the Bitcoin price.
🐒 The 24hr volume BTC is the number of Bitcoins used to trade AltCoins on Bittrex and Poloniex .

🐒 I may have isolated a possible chart pattern showing the possibility of Bitcoin rising in price . The pattern works like this when the first 2 consecutive days in a row the volume blue column falls ( they are marked with a YELLOW #1 ) When this occurred it is a signal to Buy Bitcoin and then Sell it approximately 48hrs later. Below are the results of using this Buy pattern.

Thanks for sharing! I've heard the term thrown around often, but never had it explained. I was always looking for something in the shape of a cross, not the short term MA crossing over the long therm MA on a rise. I could never find the cross shaped pattern! lol

South Korea's government has been signalling that it plans to crack down on cryptocurrency trading.
Exactly how it will do this remains vague. But just the threat of action has been enough to drive a sell-off across the market globally.
Bitcoin, for example, has lost nearly a quarter of its value in the past week. And so on Wednesday the virtual currency - which last month looked set to breach the $20,000 (£14,500) mark - was trading closer to $12,000.
Prices of cryptocurrencies are volatile at the best of time. Rises and falls of 10% or more in a day are not uncommon. And pinning down rationale for those sharp movements often involves guesswork.
The price of bitcoin slumped by 15 percent to drop below $12,000 for the first time since December 4. Ethereum, meanwhile, fell by over 20 percent to hover above $1,000 and Ripple is down 33 percent to $1.23 at the time of writing.
The price drop is having a huge impact. According to Coinmarketcap.com, a site that is quickly becoming the go-to price checker, just one of the top 100 highest valued cryptocurrencies isn’t in the red over the past 24 hours. That’s Tether.
