Samsung and Squire Mining to build new ASIC chips
Squire Mining, a Canadian-based crypto mining company, announced on Tuesday that it will collaborate with Samsung Electronics and Goanchips to produce ASIC chips in South Korea. Samsung and Squire Mining will build new ASIC chips in South Korea. Samsung Electronics will be Squire's casting partner and Goanchips will be the design house.
Samsung and Squire Mining to work together in the production of ASIC chips
In August, Squire announced that it has collaborated with a para unnamed in company to undertake the back-end design, testing and production of the next-generation ASIC chip for Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin and other related crypto currencies. The company has now announced Goanchips as its own design house and co-founder of Samsung Electronics.
Squire signed a special distributor agreement with Coingeek.com in August. In this agreement, the company has undertaken the task of selling, distributing and marketing of 10nm mining chip and mining machines to Bitcoin Cash and other subcoin miners.
The collaboration of Squire, Samsung and Goanchips focuses on producing a new generation of 10nm ASIC chips for Bitcoin mining. Samsung is tasked with the production of ASIC chips in South Korea and collaborates with Gaonchips for Squire's semiconductor design house.
The company said in the press release:
Our front-end development team of engineers and programmers is currently working with Gaonchips to develop the Company's first ASIC chip for Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin and other related crypto currencies.
Squire focuses on building a prototype FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array). After the prototype was launched, Bitcoin Cash announced that it would be able to co aggressively accelerate leri the design and development of mining equipment for Bitcoin and related crypto currencies. The FPGA prototype of the 10nm ASIC chip is scheduled to end on September 30, 2018.
