DNB boss: - Norwegian celebrities are being abused in bitcoin scams

There has been a large increase in so-called investment fraud so far this year.
DNB leader Terje Fjeldvær does not disregard the fact that fraudsters are abusing Norwegian celebrities in fake articles and advertisements.

An increasing number of Norwegians are being swindled by organized criminal environments that are pretending to sell bitcoin," Terje Fjeldvær, DNB's head of combating fraud, told VG.

He says that the increase in the number of Norwegians who have been deceived in connection with investment fraud is dramatic.

• We have several examples of customers who refer to articles they have read about famous people who have invested in bitcoin, says Fjeldvær and points to several specific cases.
