What does bitcoin really mean

When one really looks deeper behind what powers our current paper national currencies, one sees a system steeped in arcane rules and traditions, trying hard to be the only solution to lubricate the smooth operation of a global net of economies. Our churches of money with their high priests of finance and economy have finally reached the apex of their power.

Till Satoshi's breakthrough, most either lived by the dictates of these fiat currencies or the few that thrived by manipulating the rules underpinning them. Very few dreamt of anything changing in a hurry. In fact most were unaware of the silent domination of the masses by the elite which this architecture of our monetary systems permitted and encouraged.

Greed by definition cannot be sated, and greed is what powers money. It is inevitable that the empowerment of greed would lead to ugly imbalances which cannot remain hidden forever.

More and more people are waking up. Those awake cannot be put back to sleep. The awake wake others, and with each passing day, as the imbalances increase, those not yet awake are waking more readily.
Those grown fat on the legacy system are waking up as well. Waking up with a nauseating sensation. An immortal beast has awoken. A nemesis they have hardly been able to comprehend or imagine.
One that seems to have easily thwarted all attempts to destroy. Their thoughts and tactics have clearly shifted. Destruction is now impossible, absorption is their goal.

Cryptocurrencies are going through rapid nuclear evolution. Their very nature, their mission, is to disrupt the passive slavery empowered by our legacy financial structures.
Because they behave as actual currencies, by the simple act of holding some of them is tantamount to investing in this brave new world.
Anyone could have downloaded the bitcoin client in 2010 and mined themselves a true fortune in 2017. The stories of 10k btc pizzas, 7k trapped on a hard drive in a landfill, etc.. are stories of raw evolution.

I have been greatly amused over the last few years to see in real time the evolution of the banking elite's resistance.
The naive and idiotic arguments, their criminal accusations, and their unabashed fear-mongering have come to naught. The window slips shut on their one and only chance to circumvent, co-opt, absorb this new beast into their alter of power.

Today I count over 800 modified copies of Bitcoin. Better known as alt coins. Some of these are pure scams, but others are amazing second generation incarnations of the bitcoin idea with huge ambitions to spread the core technology of the bitcoin invention far and wide throughout our societies. Intelligent people understanding the sea change occurring under our feet, driven by varying proportions of ideological fervor, fame, and profit, are the pioneers of this brave new world.

The genie was truly released in 2011 when the world looked on with jaws dropped when the first price spike of btc occurred.
It was the juice btc and the nascent cryptocurrency world needed. Now we are in the middle of the next price spike.

It timing looks prophetic. The stock market balloon called the "global economy" has stopped its ascent. Since even a pause in its ascent hints and breeds doubts, eyes seek out safe harbors. Nobody wants to left holding the bag when the balloon bursts.

As an adult, it has come as a sharp and painful realization that it is not by accident that virtually nobody is formally educated on the actual operation of money. Its history, its flows, its behavior, its true nature. This should be a topic taught to students from an early age considering that the rest of their lives will be measured by these false tokens.
It has been the design of those that imposed the rules of money upon us. Dynasty's, Robber Baron's, Monarch's, Dictator's and central banker's all understand what money represents: control! And it only works if they control it. The rest of us are, on the whole, oblivious of the slow relentless drag on our hopes and dreams, as they pull the blankets to themselves, taking ever more and more of our time, effort and toil.

Bitcoin and her children are born. They are here, and with each passing day, those waking up from this generational stupor are beginning to realise what has been done to them.
I would not presume to predict a new dawn of man has arrived, but an old enemy is feeling the creeping sensation of doom settle around them.
