Germany asked for all their gold to re-patriated from the US in 2013 ... the US managed to repatriate 5% of it and then kind of went, Um, so, this is difficult to do and we're not going to be able to fulfill the rest of it ... Huh? Why not? What's so 'difficult'? So there's a great deal of suspicion that Germany's gold is no longer actually in New York where it's supposed to be.
