Sneaky Program secretly uses your computer to mine for Bitcoins
The latest update for the popular µTorrent file-sharing program might have given some users a little more than they bargained for. After installing the update, some people found that their computers were running slower than normal. The reason behind that drop in performance is really shady.
It looks like that the µTorrent update wasn't the only thing installed on these people's computers. Some also received a bitcoin mining program called EpicScale that was earning digital currency for someone else without the computer owner's knowledge.
