Bitcoin Halving 2020: How do I think it will affect the price?

What caused the price of Bitcoin to dramatically rise from 800 to 19000, back down to 13000 by the end of 2017? Most say it was a combination of all the new money, hype and speculation.

Could the halving of Bitcoin in 2016 had this same effect and caused some of the bull run during the end of 2017?

Maybe, I'd say the reason was more of the insane spike in new investors and hype, rather than the halving. Then again, nobody really knows, it could be anything.

When the next halving occurs in 2020, the number of Bitcoins mined per day will decrease to 864, 432 in 2024, and so on. By 2032, about 99% of all the Bitcoin in the world (20,671,875) will have been mined. The same idea occurs with the amount of Bitcoin being earned from mining a block. 50 bitcoins were earned as a reward for mining a block initially, then to 25 Bitcoin, 12.5, etc. In 2020, it will go to 6.25 bitcoins.

As we progress into the future, more and more people will soon start to realize that there won't be that much Bitcoin to accumulate. This will most likely create a lot of FUD in my opinion, which has the potential to drive the price up dramatically. This is basic supply and demand, less Bitcoin, more demand for the Bitcoin.
