Modi government is in a mood to clear taxation on bitcoin.
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley had clarified in his Budget speech that cryptocurrencies like bitcoin will be taxable 20 % as long-term (36 months)capital gain under GST.
this is a good sign for the cryptocurrency investor especially from India. keep the finger cross. there might be some huge announcement coming soon.
I am not sure when did Mr Jaitley said same during his Budget speech.
Though I am still positive with cryptos in India but what satted above doesnt look to hold true.
