WTC looking forward

WTC (Walterchain) is a project that I have been watching for quite a while. Supply chain management has always been of interest to me and for my MBA I did a case study on Argos (UK company similar to Amazon) and how they were able to reduce a lot of cost by revamping their entire supply chain management system. The idea that you can tie blockchain technology and RFID together to track every item in your supply chain from entry to exit is certainly interesting and has huge benefits. This is a great example of the many of a practical use for blockchain technology. While there are a few different projects out there that are working towards this same idea I think Walterchain is one of the top runners currently. A few weeks ago they had a massive surge in price which has slowly dropped off due to the market decline that we saw recently but they are starting to recover quite nicely.

One thing though should be thought about, it is no secret that Amazon is entertaining ideas with crypto and blockchain. What those will mean long term for Amazon and the crypto community are still to be seen but one cannot rule out the idea of Amazon creating their own version or simply purchasing / partnering with one of these already established projects. Imagine what would happen if Amazon purchased Walterchain..... talk about a moon shot.

In the short term I think Walterchain will continue to climb and perhaps even exceed the peak of a few weeks ago and long term I think this will be a successful project that will help lend credibility to blockchain and the real world applications that blockchain can bring. Day traders should be looking to ride the waves but this is going to be a solid long term investment as well.
