In incisive comments, Viktor Shvets of Macquarie criticized Jamie Dimon and his ludicrous comment that bitcoin is a fraud. Quite the opposite, Shvets pointed out that it’s modern finance that’s has no basis in reality, particularly with “a ‘financial cloud’ that is at least 4x–5x larger than the underlying economies.”    

As ZeroHedge pointed out, the financial system is awash in assets totaling $500 trillion, which is about 500% of total world GDP.      

Shvets also implied that owing to the “potential "train wreck” of this “unprecedented financialization bubble,” there is a need for alternatives such as bitcoin.
