Khusus pengguna di Indonesia, situs exchange yang sering dipergunakan adalah blocktrades, Bittrex, poloniex, hitbtc, dan bitcoin.co.id. berikut saya akan mengulas beberapa kendala yang dikeluhkan oleh pengguna layanan situs yang saya kemukakan baru saja.

1. Blocktrades.
   Blocktrades selama ini adalah situs exchange yang paling banyak dipergunakan oleh para steemian yang ada di Indonesia, hal tersebut karena blocktrades sudah seperti situs mitra dari steemit.com, ketika membuka menjual atau membeli produk dari steemit dengan menggunakan SBD maka steemit.com secara otomatis akan diarahkan ke blocktrades.us.
   Adapun kekurangan yang dimiliki oleh blocktrades.us adalah minimnya mata uang yang ditawarkan ketika melakukan exchange situs tersebut, sehingga hal tersebut menjadi kendala bagi pengguna yang ingin melakukan exchange ke mata uang yang mungkin lebih menguntungkan.

2. Bittrex dan Poloniex
   Bittrex mempunyai kelebihan karena mampu mendeposit SBD dan selanjutnya didalam wallet sementara yang disediakan bittrex dapat melakukan exchange ke sejumlah mata uang cryptocurency lainnya, selanjutnya juga pengguna juga dapat melakukan trading.
   Namun kekurang dari dua platform tersebut adalah sulitnya melakukan pendaftaran untuk menjadi member, bahkan bittrex sendiri telah menutup registrasi akun baru. Selain itu juga tidak tersedianya witdraw ke mata uang rupiah.

3. hitBTC
   sama halnya seperti bittrex dan poloniex, hitBTC juga menyediakan banyak mata uang cryptocurrency dan juga bisa mendepositkan SBD bagi para pengguna steemit, dan sekilas saya melihat harga exchange yang ditawarkan oleh hitBTC lebih menguntungkan daripada bittrex dan poloniex, namun kekurangannya juga sama seperti Bittrex dan Poloniex yaitu tidak dapat langsung dilakukan widraw ke Rupiah dan kendala ketika melakukan registrasi, oleh hitBTC mengharuskan membernya untuk melampirkan surat keterangan dari Pihak Bank.

4. Bitcoin.co.id
   Bitcoin.co.id adalah platform trading yang berlokasi di Indonesia, situs ini lebih mudah digunakan oleh pengguna di Indonesia karena dapat widraw ke rupiah, namun kekurangan dari platform ini tidak menyediakan deposit SBD sehingga tidak bisa nmengexchange dari SBD ke coin lainnya, alhasil sebelum melakukan trading di web tersebut pengguna harus melakukan exchange di platform lainnya.
