Ohio becomes the first state in the United States to accept tax payments in Bitcoin
On Nov. 25, it was announced that beginning this week companies in the state of Ohio will be able to start paying their taxes in Bitcoin, ranging from tobacco tax to public services and employee retention using said cryptocurrency. .
Everything can be done in three steps:
- Companies must register with the Ohio Treasurer's Office through a special portal for them, OhioCrypto.com.
- They must enter the data of the taxes, like the amount of the payment and the fiscal period of the same one.
- Make the payment of the amount owed in Bitcoin through a compatible cryptocurrency portfolio.
