Mad Bitcoins - Betcha can’t watch just one!

The price of bitcoin is up 9.42% in the last 24 hours. With a last of 2511,
a high of 2516 and a low of 2291.

Here are Today’s Mad Bits:

AMD and NVIDIA go after Bitcoin miners with new video cards

Dual ball bearing fans with rust resistance are only a few of the new feature of ASUS’s first graphics cards made for Cryptocurrency mining. They also claim that they mine 36% faster than non-optimised cards. With both an AMD and a NVIDIA version, this is the first time the major players have taken note of the Cryptocurrency mining market which recently was credited with driving shares of AMD up 7%. Expect more in the future...

Burger King to Accept Bitcoin in Russia This Summer

A second wave of Bitcoin retail is rolling out in Russia, of all places. Previously a Subway franchise in Russia took bitcoin, but that was only one of them. After a test launch in Moscow, Burger King executives confirmed that they will be rolling out Bitcoin nationwide… in Russia.

Bitcoin Legal Experts: nChain SegWit Criticisms Are Flawed

Well of course they’re flawed. Come on now Coinbase, you of all people should consider the source.

According to Coinbase:

“nChain employs controversial developer Craig Wright, an Australian native who once claimed to be bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto only to retract that claim amid scrutiny. He has not since provided proof to satisfy the claim.”

Well that’s one way of describing what happened. Another would be that allegedly Craig Wright provided false information to Gavin Andresen, tricking him into believing that he was Satoshi and thoroughly ruining Gavin’s reputation.

So would you trust a company that employs “controversial developer Craig Wright, an Australian native who provided false proof that he was bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto”?

I sure wouldn’t. And I wouldn’t write an article about them either. Why are we even talking about this?

Oooop, we’re out of time

Graphics cards for mining is a bit of a joke. The landscape changes so fast, half the investment is in the cards resale value alone. These cards, with their lack of video output, serve one purpose only. not to mention they get eaten up in the processing demands. i see these cards falling flat

It's tough to say with so many altcoins still mineable with graphics cards. I'm still waiting for Intel to get into the game. Similar to the "21.co" vision of a bitcoin chip on every motherboard.... Will have to wait and see. :)

follow your YT channel for quite long, now here! thx for another great video! Maaaaaddddd Bitcoinssssss! ✌✌

Thanks Blake! have been enjoying your work here. Great dedication to blogging. :)

If AMD and NVidia are actually able to pull this off, then forget about investing in crypto, invest in their stocks, because will dominate!! Exciting times!
