I believe this bitcoin Harford are actually a good thing, they some of them are blatant scams but others offer certain technology advantages that can put the bitcoin community up to a really strong hold test and at the same time encourage the bitcoin devs to catch up and try to bitcoin up to date so that it doesn't get taken over by other coins with way superior tech.
Yeah, you have a point there but bitcoin can only survive if the community will make the required changes otherwise we will die.
