I am spanish and I do not think they will use cryptocurrencies for two reasons:
1- 52% of the catalonians want to be part of Spain so they would not use the cryptocurrency making it impossible to include in their economy.
2- The ones who used to govern on Cataluña do not even know what cryptocurrencies are, they have very low cultural knowledge.
Spain has already applied the article 155 of the Constitution so the ones who wanted the independence have no longer control. There will be elections the 25th of December.
That's a good point .. the lovely people of Spain deserve better .. but I do think that cryptos and blockchain cannot be stopped ( it can be controlled , to a degree , by outlawing it ) but its creators are leagues ahead .. the biggest threat to cryptos is the covert agencies . Corrupt Govts .. and the users ( scammers are fraudsters )
