in #bitcoin7 years ago

South Korean financial institutions have banned virtual currency transactions such as Bitcoin. The country is taking this step due to speculative violence in retail trade, due to the proxy currency in the country, the transactions are in a critical phase. Currently, about 20 percent of global Bitcoin transactions are in South Korea. Bitcoin's biggest market is more than 20 percent more than the demand for the currency, compared to the United States. Meanwhile, the price of Bitcoin is increasing internationally this year. In January, the price of Bitcoin was $ 1,000 per unit, which was $ 17,000 this week. In view of this, the government banned all financial institutions from buying or selling any virtual currency as safe assets.
