RE: Bitcoin Transaction Fees are Outrageously High (Lowest Fee at approximately 50 USD)

in #bitcoin7 years ago

well, I don't have any experience yet, because all the sites where I've signed up I have to wait and wait for verification, but I agree with you, I'm craving to buy ethereum, bitcoin is not interesting at that price, maybe if it drops below 10 000 but not before, and then I will redistribute half of my ethereum into coins like ripple and litecoin, electroneum, things like that, to have eggs in all potential bursting zones

Sort:

and the other half of the ethereum I keep holding it without looking , just not looking at it until next year, and then it will surely have become a high revenue , like a 2nd or 3rd figure earning for me, that's all that got me interested about cryptos, well not only that, but a good part of that, I hate "normal" investors and the Forex and Wall Street, so as I was looking for a way to earn passive income even when I sleep, this is the perfect choice; well , I trust ethereum, so I would surely hold it for a year at least, unless there's some accident, but I don't believe that; I will soon write a post about why I trust ethereum, with some summary of its technology I read in its whitepaper that you can download for free

Ethereum is promising especially long term. I have ETH but I haven't even read the whitepaper. I'm lazy and dependent on what people like you write, and compare different reviews. There was only one time I read a whitepaper and that was when I bought an ICO.

Ok, consider yourself lucky you have Eth, that is something I wanna hold too for a few years, the kind of investment I would trust without looking at it. Sometimes I watch and read people's views too, but I try to combine it with what I find not to be influenced by subjectivity, you just gotta add some whitepaper reading and go on bitcointalk, and you will have many points of view, when too many are in favor of a coin, you should trust it. That's my method I guess.

You can always learn more anyway, but you have to put yourself limits too not to end up saturated with data in your head and burning out ; that's my worst enemy as I just enjoy working to the full. But I'm still waiting for verification on some sites so as I wait I try to absorb as many information as I can. As you bought Ethereum, did you do on a site by credit card ? If so, can you tell me the name? I could try there too, I'm maximizing my chances to buy it as soon as possible. That's the type of site I'm looking for, unfortunately they're all making me wait for eternity before letting me be verified and starting to buy.

Thanks for sharing your method :) I will force myself to read the whitepaper! I also read on reddit, some time I pass by bitcointalk.

One last question : can you tell me the site where you bought ETH? Maybe I don't know it, that could help me buy it faster.

Hi @loonyfool I bought mine on a physical counter here in Manila. Their website is moneybees.net and I just go there and pay in cash and they send directly in my ETH wallet
I also tried in Abra but the recent fees has gone up. Don't know if I was of help. Happy 2018! :)

ok thanks a lot, you're lucky to have those kind of physical counters. It's trustful and you know you're not under scam threat.
