Bitcoin's Existential Crisis Can be Averted by Going Back to it's Decentralized Roots

Public Service Announcement

Bitcoin is currently experiencing a well orchestrated attack led by Jihan Wu and Roger Ver.

Transactions could be slow and expensive for as much as a month because of how they have gamed the mining difficulty adjustment.

They have also spammed social media (particularly reddit and 4chan) with paid trolls and fake accounts.

In my opinion (and I'd be interested in hearing yours), the best way forward is to hodl, and take bcash profits when you can, or just hedge and do nothing.

Changelly is a decent service for converting one coin to another, but expect the bitcoin side of any transaction to be slow and expensive for now.

Bcash is a network with very few developers, no layer2 scaling options, centralized mining, a precedent being set today of primarily hard forks as the way to make changes, and a design goal of giant data center nodes which will ultimately prove to be unsustainable.

Decentralization is what makes bitcoin all that it is.

Don't let temporary inconveniences distract from understanding the fundamentals. Roger seems to have Jeffrey Tucker and some others pretty well duped, but the underlying tech doesn't lie.

Happy trading or hodling or whatever you decide :)

What are you doing going forward?
